World Leadership Conference 2020, an annual leadership event, was held April 8. Due to the spread of the COVID-19 virus, this year’s event was held in online format, using the IVA MCU videoconferencing platform developed in Russia.
In response to the coronavirus pandemic, Women Leaders International Network decided the online forum would certainly be a great solution so that all leaders around the world could discuss issues together. The topic chosen for the first online forum was surviving and preventing the newly emerging phenomenon of coronaism.
The conference brought together prominent public figures, business and government representatives, including: Advisor of Indonesia Research Centre Ms. Shinta W. Dhanuwardoyo; Miss Indonesia and ASEAN 2005, and now a property developer Ms. Imelda Fransisca; President of World Women Leading Change (WLIN Indonesia), Founder and CEO of Ayla & Associate Prof. Dr. Ayla Dewj A. Aldjufrie; President of Technology WWLC and Adtech Dr. Devi Ernawati; General Director of Nam Huong Group, President of WLIN Global Helen Nguyen; and many others.
Women Leaders International Network, together with BSIN Global, chose the Russian-made IVA MCU videoconferencing platform by IVA Technologies to conduct the event for the first time in the new, online format. The choice was made because the solution offers all the functionality needed for an event of this scale: the possibility of connecting up to 100 participants in video conferencing mode and up to 1000 in webinar mode, the ability to demonstrate the screen, support for various connection methods for participants, premoderated chat messages, etc.“I believe that the opportunity to provide a platform for dialogue on the most pressing issues among international leaders is a great honor for any company. Naturally, we were happy to be the technology partner and provide our solution for this event. It is of great importance not only for us as an individual company – I believe that the choice of Russian solutions to support key international events will have a positive impact on the image of our entire country”, says Sergey Chernykh, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the HiTech Group of Companies
